Judea Pearl "gave his blessing" on BayesiaLab

November 11, 2010 was an important milestone for Bayesia. We had the privilege of meeting with Professor Judea Pearl at his office on the UCLA campus. Over the course of two hours we demonstrated our approach of Probabilistic Structural Equation Modeling with Bayesian networks, and more specifically, we showed our implementation of interventional inference, applying the "Do" operator. Very impressed by BayesiaLab and its practical applications, he concluded with this exclamation: "This is the good stuff!", probably the best testimonial we could have hoped for from one of the fathers of Bayesian networks and the leading scholar in the field of causality.
