Given the near-universal restrictions on hosting classroom events at the moment, we have expanded our online training options of the BayesiaLab Academy. In addition to many hours of free webinar and seminar recordings, you can now participate in our popular three-day introductory course curriculum entirely offline, in your time zone, and at your own pace.
This new self-study program is based on the the highly-acclaimed three-day introductory course course taught by Dr. Lionel Jouffe. It includes over 20 hours of lectures plus software demos recorded directly from the instructor's screen in 1080P resolution! Additionally, you'll have access to over 300 pages of course notes.
The self-study course includes a 60-day license to the Education Edition of BayesiaLab. All study materials, including videos and slides, are exclusively accessible from within the BayesiaLab software during the license period.
While you obviously can't ask questions as you watch a recorded lecture, you can still connect with our instructors anytime. We are available via chat, email, phone, social media, and, of course, via our new BayesiaLab Community.
Dr. Lionel Jouffe is co-founder and CEO of France-based Bayesia S.A.S. Lionel holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Rennes and has been working in the field of Artificial Intelligence since the early 1990s. While working as a Professor/Researcher at ESIEA, Lionel started exploring the potential of Bayesian networks. After co-founding Bayesia in 2001, he and his team have been working full-time on the development BayesiaLab, which has since emerged as the leading software package for knowledge discovery, data mining and knowledge modeling using Bayesian networks. BayesiaLab enjoys broad acceptance in academic communities as well as in business and industry.
Applied researchers, statisticians, data scientists, data miners, decision scientists, biologists, ecologists, environmental scientists, epidemiologists, predictive modelers, econometricians, economists, market researchers, knowledge managers, marketing scientists, operations researchers, social scientists, students and teachers in related fields.
For a general overview of this field of study, we suggest that you download a free copy of our book, Bayesian Networks & BayesiaLab. Although by no means mandatory, reading its first three chapters would be an excellent preparation for the course.
With this course, you have access to a 60-Day license of BayesiaLab Education Edition. It is functionally equivalent to the full commercial edition of BayesiaLab Professional used in the classroom sessions, with the following exceptions:
