First of all, many thanks for joining the BayesiaLab user community!

You now have access to a BayesiaLab token license, which is tied to the following account name: ______________.

You can now go ahead and start the BayesiaLab installation by downloading the software package via this link: ________________________________________

Please note that you will first need to uninstall any previous version of BayesiaLab, e.g., the trial version, before installing your new version.

Upon launching BayesiaLab, you will be prompted to enter your credentials to start a BayesiaLab session.

There are 5 fields for you to fill in:

• 1. Host: bls1.bayesia.com

• 2. Port: 2424

• 3. User Name: See email notification

• 4. Password: See email notification

• 5. Account: You can leave this field blank

We sent you your User Name and Password by separate email. In case you can't immediately find this notification in your inbox, please look for an email sent by [e-mail] with the subject line: Bayesia License Server Login Information.

If you do not find this email, you can request a new password via this link: http://bls1.bayesia.com/users/resetPassword.

Upon entering your credentials, please click Next to establish the connection with the BayesiaLab License Server, which will start your BayesiaLab session. Please note that you will need a continuous Internet connection for the duration of your BayesiaLab session.

If you cannot connect to the BayesiaLab Server, chances are that your company’s firewall blocks the connection from BayesiaLab to bls1.bayesia.com:2424. Please ask your IT department for assistance in this regard (see the BayesiaLab Library for more detailed information).

You will have access to this license until _____________.

As you get started with BayesiaLab, you may want to check out the BayesiaLab Library, which is a wiki-style knowledge repository of the complete BayesiaLab documentation. It also features many tutorials, instructional videos, etc. And, the Library’s FAQ section may already have an answer to some of your questions about Bayesian networks. Upon clicking the download link, you will see several BayesiaLab versions that are available for download.

Please note that there are 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions available. Furthermore, the Windows versions can be downloaded with or without the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). If you have JRE already installed on your PC, you may opt for the smaller download.
