Abstract

As the data collected by businesses grow bigger and wider, so does the promise of developing streamlined insights through causal and predictive analytics. To that end, Booz Allen’s Advanced Analytics team has leveraged the power of Bayesian Networks to derive actionable insights for clients across the public and private sectors. We present cases of our BBN modeling applications across airline planning, asset valuation, retail consumer behavior modeling, and critical infrastructure assessment. We also describe a recent study where a Booz Allen team joined millions of guest stay records, loyalty program records, and promotional data from a leading global hotel chain to predict the customer-level impacts of promotional campaigns and estimate campaign return on investment.
