Returning to Florida for the 13th Annual Gathering

The BayesiaLab Conference stands as the premier global event dedicated to the applied research and practical deployment of Bayesian networks in analytics, decision science, and problem-solving. Each year, the conference brings together a diverse community of researchers, professionals, and innovators who are advancing the frontiers of Bayesian network applications across disciplines and industries.

What began in 2013 as a modest gathering in Orlando, Florida, has since evolved into a globally recognized forum, with a history of 12 successful conferences, including four virtual editions during the pandemic. From Paris to Chicago, Nashville to Los Angeles, each chapter of the conference has reflected the growing momentum and real-world impact of our field.

In November 2025, we’re excited to return to Florida, the birthplace of our conference series, for the 13th Annual BayesiaLab Conference. This time, the event will be hosted at the Office Depot Center on the beautiful campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. With its state-of-the-art conference facilities and inspiring surroundings, the venue provides the perfect setting for meaningful exchange, hands-on exploration, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

FAQ

What is the cost for attending this conference?

General admission for the two-day conference is $399 (plus Eventbrite fees and taxes). Participants from academic institutions, NGOs, government agencies, and the military are eligible for a discounted conference ticket of $299 (plus Eventbrite fees and taxes).

What is the typical background of conference attendees?

Applied researchers, statisticians, data scientists, data miners, decision scientists, biologists, ecologists, environmental scientists, epidemiologists, predictive modelers, econometricians, economists, market researchers, knowledge managers, marketing scientists, operations researchers, social scientists, students and teachers in related fields.

I’m new to Bayesian networks. Does it make sense for me to attend?

By all means, yes! Most attendees consider themselves students rather than experts in the rapidly evolving field of Bayesian network research, so even if you are entirely new to this field, you’ll fit right in with everybody else on this journey of discovery.

Can I attend this conference remotely?

No, this is an in-person event, and you will need to be present at the venue in Boca Raton.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

You may cancel your registration for a full refund of the fee up to 30 days before the start of the event. If you cancel within 30 days of the event, your registration fee will not be refunded. However, you will be able to apply 100% of the paid fees towards future BayesiaLab events.
