Select Classes

Context

  • You can perform operations collectively on nodes that are members of Classes.
  • For example, it is convenient to select nodes on the Graph Panel by their Class membership so you can perform basic operations on them, such as move, delete, include, exclude, and show Monitors. This is particularly helpful whenever you have many nodes, perhaps hundreds or thousands, appearing on the Graph Panel simultaneously.

Usage & Workflow Illustration

  • For illustration purposes, we use a well-known diagnostic model for Coronary Artery Disease (see Diagnostic Decision Support).
  • In the following example, we show you how to select one node, Triglyceride, and then automatically select all the other nodes that are in the same Class (Laboratory and Echo). Even nodes that are initially off-screen due to the zoom level are selected.
