Select Classes

Context

  • You can perform operations collectively on nodes that are members of Classes.
  • For example, it is very convenient to select nodes on the Graph Panel by their Class membership, so that you can perform basic operations on them, such as move, delete, include, exclude, show Monitors, etc. Once again, this is particularly helpful whenever you have many nodes, perhaps hundreds or thousands, appearing on the Graph Panel simultaneously.

Usage & Workflow Illustration

  • For illustration purposes, we utilize a well-known diagnostic model for Coronary Artery Disease (see Diagnostic Decision Support).
  • In the following example, we show you how to select one node, Triglyceride, and then automatically select all the other nodes that are in the same Class Laboratory and Echo. Even those nodes are selected that are initially off-screen because of the zoom level.
