Edit Filtered States

Context

In this panel, you can specify a Filtered State or Filtered Value for a node. Only one Filtered State/Value is allowed per node, whether continuous or discrete. This state is used to represent values that logically cannot exist, for instance the variable $\mathit{Pregnancy}$ for a male survey respondent. In this context, neither state of $\mathit{Pregnancy}$, i.e., $\{\mathit{True}, \mathit{False}\}$, would make sense. So, the Filtered State/Value represents an additional state, “not applicable.” Thus, the variable $\mathit{Pregnancy}$ gets a third state: $\{\mathit{True}, \mathit{False}, \mathit{n/a}\}$ (or Filtered Value).
