Abstract

With advances in big data, artificial intelligence, and increased metric captures of everything we do, analytics will go through a radical transformation in the next few decades. As a result, there will be a shift from analytics simply influencing business decision-makers to analytics actually owning the decisions. This transformation is already happening in the pricing and finance community, but expect it to expand to even C-level decisions. In this presentation, we will share a case study from recent experiences by taking a look at the current analytics environment in Dell marketing and demonstrate why the transformation is the way forward.
