Temporal Index Layout
The Temporal Index Layout function creates horizontal layers of nodes based on their Temporal Indices:
- Each layer consists of nodes with the same Temporal Index, and nodes within each layer are evenly spaced horizontally.
- The layers of nodes are arranged from top to bottom in increasing order of the Temporal Index values, meaning nodes "earlier" in the temporal order are above nodes with a "later" index.
- Within each layer, nodes are arranged alphabetically by their names.
Usage
- From the Main Menu, select
View > Layout > Temporal Index Layout
. - If you select a set of nodes before running the algorithm, the Temporal Index Layout is only applied to the selected nodes.
