- Select the nodes you want to assign to a class and then right-click one of them.
- From the Contextual Menu, select
Properties > Classes > Add. - The Add Class dialog box offers you a choice regarding the class:
- Existing Class, if any are already associated with your network.
- Predefined Class, which includes:
- Factor
- Manifest
- Non_Confounder
- Hyperparameter
- Resource
- Opt_Hard_Evidence
- New Class
Example & Workflow Animation

In the following animation, we show how to add the nodes and to the new , as both nodes represent signals that can potentially be detected by performing an electrocardiogram (ECG).
Note that four other classes have already been defined in this example: Demographic, Diagnosis, Laboratory and Echo, and Symptoms and Examination, in addition to BayesiaLab’s predefined classes.
